Amethelis
A drifting Wisp material harvested from Flowers. Dry the petals, burn them into Florin gas, and control every side draft on the route.

Harvest and processing
Amethelis grows as the petals of a Flower. Breaking the plant releases four petals plus one Gold, so a flower line produces both a light process material and a dense byproduct.
The core chain is simple:
- Grow and break Flowers.
- Separate the Gold from the drifting petals.
- Pass Amethelis through a Dryer.
- Burn Dry Amethelis to release Florin gas.
The documented conversion is approximately two Dry Amethelis for one Florin. Keep the gas chamber tall enough for Florin to clear the burn zone.
Wisp handling
Wisp material does not fall in a clean vertical column. It sways laterally, escapes narrow open chutes, and can settle in ledges that would never catch a conventional solid.
Use a wider enclosed shaft, sloped recovery walls, and an Aerokinetic Fan when direction matters. Test with a small batch before opening the Flower buffer; a single side opening can scatter an entire harvest through neighbouring machines.
Build the route for the drift envelope, not for the centre line you wish the petals would follow.
Voidbloom route
Amethelis can also be mixed with Redsand to create Voidbloom. That alternate chain belongs beside Flux processing rather than the Florin burner, because the output and required containment are different.
Separate the two recipes upstream. A shared buffer makes it easy for the Dryer line to consume petals that were intended for Voidbloom.
Failure modes
- A one-tile chute is reliable for dense solids but unreliable for Wisp matter.
- Dry Amethelis is burnable; an unplanned spark can consume the buffer early.
- Gold from Flowers falls differently and can obstruct the petal outlet without sorting.
- Open fans can push petals into nearby systems when the receiving chamber is full.
